Grandmother’s wise lesson

A wise old woman wanted to teach her Granddaughter a lesson about a spiritual battles. She told her of two wolves that live inside of all humans.

She explained, one is evil;  it is hate, anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, lust, self-loathing, and it’s controlled by ego.

The other is good. It is love, truth, peace, faith, hope, kindness, and joy.
It is controlled by goodness.

The girl paused for a moment, then asked, “Grandmother, which wolf wins?”

Her Grandmother replied softly…
“The one you feed.”
